My son hated taking a bath because he hated getting water in his face. He would never put his head back when I went to rinse his hair. It was like he was having a panic attack and it was getting worse. I bought one of these for me and my ex husband, and they have been a complete life saver. He takes a bath with no problem and actually dumps the water on his head himself. He says it's like taking a shower. He is 3 and it fits him good. I have a 7 year old that wanted to try it but his head is too big. I wouldn't suggest it for older children only for that reason. This is a must have product if you have a child that hates the water!!!

My 2 year old son would not let us wash his hair without a screaming fight in the tub. We dreaded it so much that we only faced the challenge once a week, and let him go with dirty hair. This hat fits snugly around his head so that no water drips through to his eyes, not even around his ears and temples. He still gets nervous about baths, because he is taking awhile to trust the hat, but it has gotten much easier to bathe him. We are up to twice a week right now. We've been using the hat for 2 weeks. My son asks for his shampoo hat, and says "The water can't get me with my shampoo hat!" I highly recommend this hat for anyone with a difficult to bathe toddler.

I bought this one thinking that it is the same one that my sister has. (she got it as a gift) It's very flimsy and water leaks through. My 19 months old hates it. Not a good buy. Waste of money.
