This sling is awesome!

PRO:

It is roomy enough to hold my 9 month old son who weighs 22 pounds, and he loves being in it. The wide padded shoulder strap makes it easy to wear without pain. In fact, it is probably the most back-friendly slings you can find.

I have tried a number of baby carriers (baby bjorn, moby wrap, other sling design) and this one is by far the most convenient. You can just throw it over your head and it is ready to go. This sling is easy to both tighten and loosen with baby in it. It has two large pockets on the outside, which hold a bunch of napkins, keys, and perhaps a cell phone and a hat.

Since I've had this sling, I have gotten a lot of compliments for it and I have been asked several times where one can buy it.


CON:

Be aware that this sling is pretty big. You can tighten it as far as you like, but if you are very short and slender, you may not like this product. (At 5'10"/slender, I didn't have this problem, but it just seems to be likely.)

Like all slings, it goes over one shoulder, which makes it less back-friendly than a wrap, such as the Moby (though this sling is not bad at all).


This sling was worth every penny and I don't know where I'll be without it.

I had researched slings when my second baby was born, but I didn't know anyone who had one and I was hesitant. I saw a Mom with this carrier at a play area and I asked her about it- she and her baby looked so comfortable! She convinced me to try it and I am so glad that I did. The sling is extremely comfortable for me and my baby. My son was almost 18 pounds at 4 months, so I was afraid that he would be too big and heavy- quite the contrary. This sling is MUCH better for us than the front carrier that I had for my first son. Side benefit- the fabric is beautiful and very soft. I get compliments and questions about this sling everywhere that I go.

A definite must have. This came in handy in so many ways. My baby loved cuddling in it when she was a newborn, and now it makes it easy to walk around with her. Definitely a better sling than most brands. Thicker material, and the padding on the edges is helpful to have.

I used the baby bjorn with my first son and was happy with it. However, when DS#2 arrived, he was too small for the baby bjorn (infant needs to be 23in for it). So I bought this and loved it. Great for around the house, or even out shopping. Very easy to use and care for.
I also tried the moby wrap... that one was too complicated for me to use. This was way easier and faster.

I bought this sling with the hopes of getting more done around the house. It is comfortable for me while wearing it definitely. My baby is not sure if she likes it though, sometimes she goes to sleep in it right away, and sometimes she cries and doesn't like it. It might just take a bit more time for her to get used to it. I like the ease of getting her in and out of it compared to wraps.
